Who doesn't love food! It all began for me at a young age growing up in Toronto when my uncle taught me what it meant to create beauty with your dishes. He always said "you eat with your eyes first", your food should always be treated and presented with extra love. Somehow it all made sense, if my food looked good, chances were it always tasted that way. I never really thought of becoming a food stylist; I just always loved to create wonderful looking dishes for my friends and family. Establishing that I was an artist I went off to study at Sheridan College, Toronto campus, to become a world renowned photographer (as all budding artists hope to do). I graduated and went straight into shooting food and beverage. This is where the "true" me came through, but it wasn't until the photographer I was assisting at the time noticed I had skills with presentation or as they say "the eye". He let me put together a couple of shots for him and Bam! A new talented stylist was in the making. It was then I realized that food styling was definitely my thing. I decided to change my career and take on the world of food styling. Taking a few more courses to further develop my skills with some of the best in the Toronto business I was able to expect nothing but the very best from myself. So here I am today, loving my job and happy to meet and create with all kinds of artists. I can only ask that it keeps on coming my way and makes you hungry.
