Rayna Schwartz

Rayna Marlee Schwartz is an award-winning, Toronto-based prop stylist and art director with more than 12 years of experience creating compelling visual stories across editorial, commercial, and publishing projects.

A graduate of the Honours Bachelor of Design (Visual Communications) program at York University and Sheridan College, with a Design Management Certificate from Toronto Metropolitan University, Rayna began her career in editorial media and developed her craft working with some of Canada’s most respected publications, including Chatelaine, Today’s Parent, Canadian Living, House & Home, and HGTV Magazine. What started in magazine publishing quickly evolved into a career spanning advertising campaigns, video productions, cookbooks, branded content, and editorial projects for some of North America’s most recognized brands and media companies. Her early editorial experience, combined with her foundation in design, laid the groundwork for a styling approach rooted in storytelling, resourcefulness, and an instinctive understanding of how objects, colour, texture, and composition work together to create meaningful imagery.

Over the course of her career, Rayna has collaborated with leading brands including Pinterest, Indigo, Rogers, Starbucks, Pillsbury, Walmart, RBC, Nespresso, and many others. She has worked across still photography, video production, branded content, advertising campaigns, and publishing, and has styled, produced, and art directed numerous books and editorial projects for major publishers and media organizations.

Known for creating warm, elevated, and detail-rich environments, Rayna brings equal parts creativity and practicality to every production. Whether sourcing the perfect prop, building a set from scratch, or helping shape the creative vision of a campaign, she approaches every project with curiosity, collaboration, and a passion for visual storytelling.
