Ever since Dee Daly was a little girl she’s been fascinated with the aesthetic of beauty. Her work is an outlet by which she seeks to find the answers to what makes women feel beautiful, sophisticated and sexy. This insatiable curiosity led her to begin studying make-up over 10 years ago – she’s been practicing make-up professionally for the past six.
To Dee, practice makes perfect. She continues to challenge her knowledge of hair & make-up techniques through working with an eclectic selection of publications including: Wedding Bells, Life & Fashion, Oxygen, Eye Candy, Zink, Style, Applied Arts, and highly acclaimed New York on-line magazine, Zoo-Zoom. She has also worked on campaigns for Nike, Wal-Mart, the Canadian Newspaper Association and Big Star Jeans.
Passion for life is the central philosophy of Dee’s artistry and the promotion of beauty as diversity is splashed all over her work. Aside from collaborating on editorial, fashion and creative print campaigns, her clients in the world of music include The Stills and Alexis On Fire, George Canyon, Keisha Chante, Kardinal Offishal and recent Juno-award winner, Lights.
Clean skin confidence is a driving force behind her work and as such, Dee has been a consistent personality working for series like Mr. Friday, The Next Star, Superstar Hair Challenge and Canada’s Next Top Model. A recent personal highlight, is her quirky contribution in hair & make-up to the Toronto International Film Festival selected film, Coopers Camera (2008).
Work is never dull for Dee though, even in all its seriousness, she has fun doing what she does and feels privileged to have the world as her creative playground.  Her passion continues to unfolds and take form in all her endeavours.
