ELLEN PRATT

“I really love making people feel great and look beautiful,” says makeup and hair expert Ellen Pratt. “It’s wonderful to see the change that comes over someone when they see their beauty potential realized.”

A talented artist with a natural eye for beauty, Ellen began her career in Los Angeles working in print, commercials and television. She garnered her professional skills from renowned L.A. artists through UCLA. Honing her talents helped Ellen to establish a successful career in California. She found herself consistently being hired for print and commercial jobs, as well as television and music shows for networks like Universal, Turner TV and BET. “I really enjoy working in both the mediums, print and film, it keeps it interesting to be in both worlds,” she says.

When Ellen returned home to her native Canada, she sought to develop a notable presence in the Canadian market. Based out of British Columbia since 2000, Pratt’s list of accomplishments is constantly expanding, and includes many top tier clients in print advertising, television commercials, magazine covers and editorials.
Ellen’s beauty aesthetic ranges from natural to glamorous, but she says that most importantly, “It’s about working with a team to bring out someone’s unique beauty and create a fabulous image”.

When Ellen finds time to put down her blush brush, she enjoys time with friends, traveling, fashion, decorating, baking, yoga and most recently, gardening.
