Karima attended York University receiving a BAs in Administrative studies, and then completed the Sheridan College Visual Merchandising program. Karima began working in the beauty industry as a merchandising consultant but quickly realized that her passion for beauty was greater than she had imagined. She took a leap of faith, quit her corporate job and attended CMU College of Makeup Art & Design. 

Karima’s initial work as a makeup artist was for Sephora, the starting point of her freelance career. She proceeded to work for L’Oreal Canada’s luxury lines: Armani, YSL and Shu Uemura. Karima continued to work as a wedding makeup artist, an aspect of her career she is still very passionate about.

 Her talent is enhancing ones’ natural beauty and she is known for her signature glowing skin. A self professed beauty product junkie, she is always up to date on the latest trends and is constantly updating her knowledge of looks, products and techniques. Karima is also a certified Nail Technician, having obtained her certification at George Brown College. 



Buffy Shields has been a makeup and hair artist for 11 years. In this time she has worked with celebrities such as Billy Idol, Nickelback, Blink 182, Gordon Lightfoot, and Jason Priestley. Buffy has performed on-camera makeovers for television.


Delia Lupan started her career in the beauty industry 5 years ago, leaving behind the finance world to follow her passion.  While honing her skills in makeup and hair, Delia started incorporating manicures into her photo shoots as a way to retain artistic integrity over of her work.

Delia soon fell in love with the world of manicures, finding a new outlet in nail art where she could push her own creativity while working with mainstream clients. 

Her outstanding work led to representation with Judy Inc in 2012 as a manicurist.  Since then, Delia has had the pleasure of working with the country’s top editorial magazines – Flare, Elle Canada and Fashion magazine, advertising for major brands like Motorola and Essence Cosmetics and her expertise has been sought out by Elevate and Remark magazines.

Delia strives to be current, fresh and on trend.  She is constantly updating her body of work while following the latest in fashion and beauty.


Andrea Claire is a beauty expert with extensive print, runway and on-air makeover experience. Her talent and hard work has presented her with opportunities to work in Toronto, L.A., Paris, Thailand, Singapore and New York. Andrea has years of experience both on-camera and behind the scenes in television. She has also co-starred on seven seasons of the makeover shows Canada’s Stylin’ Gypsies and So Chic and has led teams for Canadian Idol where she was featured on-air as the Idols’hairstylist.

Now she can be seen on Glam Up!’s online beauty segments for YAHOO! [Asia]. Claire also has vast advertising and editorial portfolios, which include campaigns for L’Oreal, Revlon,Lancôme, Unilever and P & G and spreads in GLOW, Fashion, Bazaar, ELLE, L’Officiel, Designare and more.

Andrea is a versatile, respected member of the industry, authoring beauty articles with tips, tricks and trends, and leading teams for New York and Toronto Fashion Weeks.
